I was interested in picking the RMX up for not only DJing onsite but at home over the internet. My question is Can i use the RMX to broadcast online with a headset and a mic? or can i not use it unless it is connected to amp/speakers? please let me know before i go shopping! and if not can you suggest a product that would allow me to do this.

You dont need speakers and amplifier to broadcast.
But you will need VirtualDJ Prof Full Version

Once you buy the RMX which is bundled with VirtualDJLE , register the serial number of the LE and you will be able to get a discount for the Pro version
Note also that the Broadcaster Version (which is also available) will not let you use the RMX
