Topic: Simple LED help!!!!

Can someone please tell me how to map a single button to beatlock on/off and get my my led to be on when beatlock is on and off when beatlock is off, thanks

Map the button to the action beatlock and assuming that it is a natively supported device that you are mapping, its associated LED will automatically turn on/off appropriately.

If you are using Simple MIDI Wrapper for a non-natively supported device, then mapping LED's is not possible (Simple MIDI Wrapper does not support LED's and other advanced MIDI features.) You will need to create a proper definition and mapper for the device: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/ControllerDefinition.html
 
Thanks. I am using a simple midi mapper so I guess that explains why I've had no luck. I'm using a Beheringer DDM400 [not supported]. I do have a definition and mapper for the DDM but when I use this I cannot use my other midi controllers [Xone 1D's] which are on my simple midi mapper. I can see no way to merge both the DDM definition and mapper and the simple midi mapper. I'm not normally bothered about led's but not being sure if beatlock is on or not could mess up a live set. I would be able to get away with a temp beatlock option i.e. beatlock only while button is pressed, like I had in vers. 3.4 but that doesn't seem to be an option in vers. 7.2. Any ideas?
 
You can use the following for temporary beat lock:

beatlock while_pressed
 
I'm not if this will help you, but there is also a Definition + Mapper for DDM available in the Plugins Download area. It's for ver 6, but the definition file will help you to map your mixer.
 
Thanks but I had already tried beatlock while_pressed, it doesn't work unfortunately. I don't think vers. 7 supports a temp beatlock. I think the temp beatlock on vers. 3.4 is the reason I preferred to keep usig 3.4 til now but I'm really loving Vers. 7 right now... It's just that either play_sync or play_sync_onbeat only seem work about 80% of the time when I'm droping in a beatless vocal whereas beatlock works 100%

Also I did d/load Definition + Mapper for DDM from the Plugins Download area but I am unable to use my Xone 1D's as there seems to be no way merge the DDM mapper with a simple midi mapper

I apologise for my ignorance of VDJScript but it really baffles me!
