What is the licensing rules of VDJ?

I run a multi-op and need 3-5 copies of VDJ. On how many systems may install one purchased copy of the VDJ? If less than what I need, is there a discount for multiple purchases?

The EULA permits 2 system installs per license for the same user. So if you are supplying systems for your DJ's to use then you need to purchase a license per user.

So, in this case you would need 3-5 licenses of VirtualDJ. You can submit a ticket to Support and we can address this better pertaining to discount information. http://www.virtualdj.com/contact/index.html

Thanks! I have submitted the question per your instructions.

Another question I have, how does the EULA work when moving to a new computer? We are scheduled to upgrade all laptops in 2011, however, we will not do so until the 3rd or 4th quarter. Should we wait to purchase VDJ until we get the new computers, or is transferring the program from one computer to another pretty easy to do?

Hi, u have to uninstall from the old computer and then install on the new computer. It should be maintain 2 system per license, use by 1 user. Otherwise it is against the EULA.

All info and cue points etc, you can transfer then to the new system.

Regards;)
