If i were you, would go to your Local dj store and hear them. I am sure they sound good but i am using two QSC K12 speakers. They have 12 inch woofers and they sound like 15's. The bass resonce is excellent.

Just did a school dance party outside with 150 people. I used 2 QSC K12's with no sub. Sound was great.

I have heard both the jbl 12's and the qsc 12's. I might just go for the qsc

JBL doesn't have 12's.

You are right. JBL doesn't have 8's then :)

JBL only puts one handle on there PRX6 12's!!!!

The back panel also has a lot less features and connection options compared to QSC.

I also vote for QSC K-12's , Since I got my pair a while back I have to say the sound for the money is the best imo.

I don't even have the subwoofer, and since I'm a wedding DJ, there hardly is ever a use for it. When it comes to mid to upscale weddings people don't want to be bothered with too much bass. However they do just great.

Eventually I'll get the sub though, just cuz I want it. :)

I was going to buy the Ksub but after i heard it, it wasnt worth the money. I bought the Kw181 instead because its slightly bigger and sounds way better than the Ksub.

Please do a video on that KW showing us around it.

@Caliente, that looks very nice bro. That's the sub I would also get, it has more "punch" the other one is good for other types of music such as jazz or country or whatever.

I also like the Yorkville sub. Not the huge one. I used to rent it whenever I needed the hard thumping sound for this rest I used to DJ for. SO, whenever I'm in the market I'll probably look for it.

...pick up some jrx 15's and an 18" sub or two---cheap, reliable and powerful
