Topic: Effects are only activating on decks 1/2, not 3/4

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Simple question:

When I activate effects, they can only apply to either deck 1 or 2.
How can I make the effects apply to decks 3 or 4?

How do you activate the effects? Are you using keyboard or controller ? How do you control decks 3 & 4 ?
 
I use a TotalControl and hit the PFL buttons to switch from decks 1/3 and 2/4... I was referring to when I switch to the effects tab where there is the list of effects and I can either activate on deck 1 or 2. I can do it from the effects knob but its hard to land on the right effect with the knob when I'm in a mix.

Any idea how to do activate on other decks?
 
Not possible through the effect page. Only from your controler or keyboard.
