completly illegal. in almost any country.

As wildcountryclub says it is illegal. But I have seen quite a lot of people doing this particularly on a site called Ioffer which I think is american. What they say is that you must own all the videos or delete within 24hours.

thought so......but money is tight so was thinking bout it

If he gets investigated and it's found out the videos originated from you then it is you that will be convicted.
You should read the terms and conditions of your download service which will almost certainly state that distributing the files to a third party is illegal.
I wouldn't do it personally.

thanks guys as usual advice priceless...wasnt sure as ive never sold stuff like that before...think its time to tell him to get subscription to service and spend hours downloading as i do

Ok would this be legal???
He subscribes to the service - which you verify. He then searches for the vids online. He makes a list and then you copy those - just those - to his HDD - maybe change him for your time, but legally he has the licence to own them now, you are just saving his download time.
Of course the downside is (but this applies to any service) that if he stops subscribing the next month he's got your vids for not a lot of money...
It depends how much you trust this fella...

I might turn a friend on to a video or two, but my whole collection... NAH.
Let him do the leg-work. And there is that thing about it being illegal... blah blah blah...

Tell your "friend" to jump off a freakin' cliff. I know I pay a pretty cheap monthly fee for 8th wonder and any wannabe dj can do the same.
