Topic: Do you remix your own songs?

do you djs out there make your own remixes to songs or do you take other remixed songs and mix them.... just wondering

If the dance floor is empty and no one likes what I am playing... I will just play some popular acapellas over the top of what I am already playing, most people only like the songs they recognize so this is the best of both worlds... my music with their lyrics, eventually doing this enough will make them start to enjoy the beat and you can take them further into what you like...
