Topic: Using Vinyl with a DJ Console

Hi there - am new to DJing. Looking to get my first set-up. Can someone please tell me - can you mix regular vinyl on deck A with an mp3 on deck B through Virtual DJ? I was thinking of getting a console like the Hercules RMX which has the necessary inputs.
Any help is appreciated.

yea, i have a timecoded setup with a RMX now, just press the the source 1 button on the top of the hercules RMX
