I just did a couple of gigs this weekend with my new VDJ 7 (I'm new to VDJ), and almost had a heart attack when my turntable (on the skin) went from spinning round and round smoothly to spinning, then pausing for a split second, then spinning again. This repeated for about 20 seconds or so. I immediately checked my CPU usage - was at about 25-35%. I had no internet connection - only external connections were to my mixer and to an external HD (Firewire 800), however the song that I was playing WAS NOT coming from that HD - it was coming from my primary HD inside the lappy.
The music never skipped a beat, but I gotta tell you, I was sweating!
- Thoughts?

I only knew this kind of isse, when searching a track and using the backspace button to correct my input.
Or when the harddrive needs a while, to send the track to VDJ.
What have done exactly at this moment?

I was playing a track and doing nothing but watching. I suppose the HD could have been working... But I wasn't performing a search.
I get to watch this happen again this Saturday <gulp> at another wedding!

I don't think anything was running, but I'll keep a watchful eye on things this Saturday.
