Topic: De-licencing Virtual DJ LE?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi Guys/Girls,

I purchased a Numark MixTrack Pro two days ago, and I was hugely disappointed with the overall quality of the product. It felt really flimsy and lightweight. There is also an issue with the jog wheels, where they seem to grind a little, and don't move freely. I also could not get on with Virtual DJ LE.

I went back to the retailer where I purchased the unit from and explained why I did not like the product.

They said they are unable to give me a refund straight away because they need to find out whether the copy of Virtual DJ LE can be de-licenced.

Is this possible? Is there any way I can de-licence the software??

Thanks in advance.

Did you register the software on this site, cause it doesn't look like it by you name?? So I would think that if you never registered the software you should be able to return it. Probably just a matter of them contacting Atomix.

Thank you for the swift reply.

I typed in the licence key when I installed the software, however I have not registered the product on this website.....

Thanks

Alternatively, if your main problem is the grinding try getting a replacement and see if that resolves it. Maybe its just a faulty unit. I personally used the numark totalcontrol for about a year back in 2008. Their products tend to be a bit plasticky... but my unit served me well for a year. No major complaints.
