I'm very interested in dj'ing specially after i used virtual dj for the first time. My only concern is that none of my equipment has a MIDI interface or capabilities, just two regular table top controllers (cd players) and a mixer. I really don't want to buy new equipment for it is an investment i can't afford now. What I'm really asking is: is there an external component I can buy that will allow me to use my cd players and mixer over MIDI with Virtual Dj? Thanks in advance.

I think you can go with time code CDs and the Maya 44 sound card. From what I can tell, this card plugs into your PC and your CD players plug into it. When you play the time code CDs in your current CD players that are hooked into this card, it can control VDJ. Not sure about the mixer, at least this is a start. I have no experience with this method but at least you can start searching with this info.

that's wassup thanks for the info i'ma look into it.
