I haven't yet. But man when the drivers/compatibility is worked out with this beast, this is the industrial strength controller to buy, imo. It's as good as any high end unit out there. Too bad it's optimized, out of the box, exclusively for the Traktor software. Can you imagine if it was, out of the box, setup for Virtual DJ 7, that would be sweet, to say the least.

The Denon MC-6000 comes out in December. It has more functionality and will be fully optimized for VDJ.

From what I've read Atomix will not be creating an inbuilt mapping for the Traktor controller and users would need to completely map it themselves.

There is no native mapping in VDJ for the S4, but there is for the DN-MC6000

The S4 comes with Traktor (not sure if it's a limited version)

The DN-MC6000 comes with Traktor LE in EU and VDJ LE in USA

S4 is shipped with full Traktor, or more correct a special version just for the S4, Trakor S4 Pro.

I was at a demo that NI had and i must say that i was not that impressed by it. Iam thinking of getting the Denon.

NO XLR's on the S4, thought it was a mixer/controller?

You can't link directly to the page, but have a look on the Denon forum, there's a really good comparison of the MC6000 vs S4 and the Denon does genuinely come out on top.

Have a look at the MC6000 section on the forum here: http://www.denondjforums.com/denonforums

Nope, its just a 4Deck MIDI controller with Audio I/F

Denon - MC6000 is a 4Deck MIDI controller with a Real 4-Ch Digital Mixer and Audio I/F

LOL,

I just bought a DJM 800 off someone that's getting an S4, he'll probably be asking for it back.

Check out my website for the definition, map and controller editor files. Check the media page when you get there.

If you have an APC40 you can get my definition and mapper from VDJ Downloads or my website.
