Topic: Virtual Dj Pro 7 and Pioneer CDJ 2000

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

If I want to use Virtual Dj Pro 7 with the Pioneer CDJ's 2000, do I need a mapper, and do I still need to use my versaport audio interface?

If there's a mapper that I need to use to operate the 2000 with VDj, can I get the link for it please?

I feel like I'm getting the silent treatment....lol

I looked through the forum to see if I could find an answer, and nothing yet. All I would like to know is if the pioneer CDj 2000 are fully compatible with VDj 7 pro, and do I need an interface such as the American Audio Versaport. If not, do I just plug them directly to my laptop and it's good to go?

Look at the list in VirtualDJ and you will see that it is fully supported. And a little research in the Hardware forum (Pioneer Hardware thread) would give you the answer as well. That is why you may have not gotten any responses.

But yes, you can use them as controllers and as the sound card(s) as well.

I probably missed it when I was looking for it. However, thank you, you have answered my question.
