Topic: Recommendations please

I have been trying to get my Denon's DN-S3700's to work with VDJ (Numark Cue) for quite some time now unsuccessfully. I have decided that instead, I will utilize a native midi controller with VDJ and perhaps take out the pain of constantly trying to fix some bug. My intent is to use my Denon as regular CD players and the midi for the digital media (music and video). I am looking at the Denon 6000 that's coming out, altough a bit pricey, I still want something that will last me for a while. Thanks for your advice.
