Ok heres my problem, i've searched endlessly for an answer to it but cant seem to find one. I have the TC and Virtual Dj Pro, and the Numark DJ IO. I've had it for about a year now. When i first got it i used it alot and everything functioned correctly. Then i got unintrested in DJing for a while and just stored it away. Now i wanted to renew my hobby and start to DJ again. The problem is today that i plugged in my Total Control for the first time in about a year it doesn't work! When i plug it in my computer recognizes it and in my Device Manager it is there clearly stated as "TotalTrack Control". In Virtual Dj everything works fine and i have everything set up and hooked up as i did before and all is functioning. i guess my main question is why isnt my total control lighting up/hardware working like it used to or being recognized by Virtual DJ like it used to?
By the way i am running Windows Vista if that matters. Well i dont think anything like that should matter if it use to work fine.
-Thanks

Ok i resolved my problem by re downloading Virtual Dj now the Total Control lights up and is functioning. But now there is another problem, my crossfader is not working! It has no function what so ever. i think there is something tieing my right volume level to my crossfader because when i move it down the crossfader on screen pulls all the way left and twitches somewhat.
If someone could please reply ASAP i have a gig tomorrow night and im hoping to resolve this issue as soon as i can.
Thank you in advance.

Try resetting the mapper for your Total Control. Your crossfader may be sending signals you don't want. I'm sure if there is a better answer someone will chime in.
Register your version of Virtual DJ Pro.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've tried this and no success. The crossfader remains on the right side on screen and doesn't move from there when i move it on the hardware.
