Excuse the newbee,
I have no experience in digital DJ but I've be reading around a bit here, looked at the trial of VDJ and found it very interesting. But I'm still wondering, why should I need an external mixer for then? VDJ has his own sliders and crossfader, together with a second soundcard don't I have enough to connect it to the amp?
And when using a external mixer how is VDJ interacting then with the controls? I mean which handelings ares done with the computer/soft and what is done through external devices?
I hope someone can shed a light here?

because users would much rather use a real crossfader and other mixer controls then have to click and drag a mouse. it far more accurate. thats what is great about VDJ you can use it alone or with controllers. i already had turntables so using VDJ with timecoded vinyls was a cool option, i just have to now upgrade my pc.
