Topic: Starting from scratch with lighting?

Hey guys -

I'm looking to get into some interesting lighting for parties and bars, but I know nothing about this! I want lighting that changes based on the music I am playing out of VDJ. Where should I start?

Go with DMX lighting. That way you can design your own light show and can also change the lighting on the fly.
