I'm a Senior at my school in Oregon and want to start DJ'ing at my school.

What kind of licenses or whatever do i need to start DJ'ing?
Can i Just use Digital MP3's from itunes or is there more to it?

Just need to know because my school administration doesn't want to get sued... and neither do I lol

Hi babe, If you bought the tunes off Itunes then i think you ok. I assume you buy the rights when you buy the tune. (i might be wrong as i only use Beatport, DanceTunes or Juno Downloads and these may be different from Itunes.)

Ask itunes...

Playing music usage fees is the responsibility of the venue here in the U.S. Any ASCAP/BMI fees would be paid for by, in your case, the school. Laws vary from state to state so, it is always a good idea to check with a local lawyer.
