Hey gang,

I haven't done a country night in over a year & was wondering what the hottest new line dancing bangers are?

Much appreciated!

linedancer = intellect of a cuttlefish.

i detest, hate, loathe, despise, and also don't like line-dancing - 12 years of doing the same kind of music and dealing with the same rednecks will do that to ya.

Strokin' - Clarence Carter - yeah it's still out there
Drinkin' My Baby Goodbye - Charlie Daniels Band
Boot Scoot Boogie - Brooks & Dunn (get the extended mix if you can)
T-R-O-U-B-L-E - Travis Tritt
Born To Boogie - Hank Williams Jr.
Watermelon Crawl - Tracy Byrd (extended mix)

those are the standards, the newer ones include

All Jacked Up - Gretchen Wilson
Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy - Big & Rich
Good Time - Alan Jackson
Louisiana Hot Sauce - Sammy Kershaw
All Summer Long - Kid Rock (they've been doing something like the electric slide to it)

there's others but those the ones right off the top of my head.
 
Well I got all those so I'm not exactly out out date lol, but I also know form having done 'Country' nights in the past what's old is new lol
 
old, new, not that it matters with country crowds. best way to do it if you're gonna let them linedance is let them pick.

This is a new one, but it is not country. However a lot of line dancer
are doing this right now.
The song is Honky Tonk by Preston, the dance is called
Shuffle Boogie Soul (SBS). It is more of a bluesy type song.

BTW The Canadian Finals Rodeo is going on this week and Weenkend; This City has been overrun with Rodeo People.

Check out Kix Brooks Weekly Charts (google) I play the biggest country night in Ft. Worth (including Billy Bobs)
also keep in mind country dancers like hip hop as well. flo rida, Usher, and BEP are also big players (women)
 
yeah but the topic was linedancing, not what you have in your main rotation of play.

when it's dance time they still linedance to Temperature - and the boss still wont let me bring a paintball gun to work to shoot them with.

but the first one i see trying to do a linedance to Shots is gonna get dragged off the floor by a cranky dj, and duct-taped to a bar stool.
