I am going to build a Rackmount PC to DJ and do video with. I am looking for suggestions of what I need and also where the best place to get a short rackmount case.

RAM is very important, 2g seems to be what pro video users are all going with.
an amd processor over 3ghz would suffice
sound cards for this arent my area...
but as for the graphics card, djaditya wanted to know which card to get on a more reasonable budget, and the nVidia geforce 6800 is a good card to use....however for a rackmount system needing the best, id go for nvidia 6800 ultra. everyone that has one is either a diehard gamer. or works with graphics, and they all say its better than the ati raedon 8500, unless youre playing half life 2.
2 ultras connected with SLI could produce literally spell-binding results, im trying to get as much info on SLI and possible vdj use with it for video for a little while atm, could be very VERY sexy...
