Topic: Controller Identification - Kontrol X1

Hello.

I have written a definition and mapper for the Traktor Kontrol X1:

But i have problems to identify the controller on any system. In v1.1 of my def/mapper i have used midiname and midinameout which works with ONE X1 in windows xp sp3 and 7 but not if you used two X1 (not at same time). Also midiname and midinameout doesnt work on MAC.

sysex id isnt a solution because the X1 doesnt answer on the request id command (miditrace). Also if i just use usb VID and PID VDJ always shows the X1 in the mapper dialog -> so it doesnt regonizes that a X1 is connected or not.

Is there any other way ill could identify the X1 in all situations?

Currently version of def/mapper (v1.2) doesnt have any identification -> regarding the problems on MAC and more than on X1.
