I'm able to record the videos etc. But when i look at the recorded video its not good compared to playing the original video. Is there any way to boost the quality or anything to help ?

I'm having the same problem. I wanted to burn a copy of my video mixes for friends but the saved avi quality looks rough. I'm using HD videos and as mentioned above the preview screen looks great while I'm mixing the videos. Any settings help would be appreciated as well.

Really the only way around it that I've read is to hookup a dvd recorder to your monitor or tv and just record it that way.
