Topic: Ripping Dvd ...chapter help

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have used djextractor for my promo only and screenplay ...well now I scored about 100 discs that are not supported by djextractor

So now I am looking for help on ripping by chapters but if there is a video that uses 2 chapters it is ripping them speperately I would like it ot be one chapter

I have tried using dvddyvryter and smartripper and I come up with the same results can this be done or am I missing something

I have had luck with dvddecrypter not sure if that is the correct spelling but do a forum search and you will find it. I would post a link but I'm on my phone
 
I tried a forum search to no avail ..
 
search for "another dvd ripping question"
 
I use smartripper, there are options to select chapters and have them rip as separate files or you can choose 1 file. Tick the 2 chapters you want to join and select as one file that way it will join them together.

I know you can do this ...basically what I have done is rip all of the files that only have one chapter then I go back and do what you ment

I am sorry I wasn't clear in my original post...what I want to be able to put a disc in and walk away from my computer come back and have it done just like djextractor does

Anyone have advice ??

Thanks that is the setting that I used when I started ripping ..when djextractor was still having all of the bugs in the early versions. I will go back and make sure I have all those setting correct and try it in a few minutes

Well I jist checked and those are the setting and it still doesn't work
