Trying changing the latency to a higher setting in your settings

yes you need to adjust your latency settings.

1) Either in Vestax asio soundcard settings
2) or in VirtualDJ peformance tab.. (latency drop down)

Aight, Bet...... I'll try that djjameslake.

I'm glad I'm part of the family...... Thanks ya'll..... I appreciate all the help from everybody. It seems latency was the problem, I changed my latency to safe mode after using the highest latency (performance settings of VDJ) and that seemed to work. Of course I'm gonna work my baby in the morning to make sure but I feel like I got my friend back ....... Holla

Hey all,

I just got vdj 7, and havent figured out how to spin on 4 decks at the same time. I am using 2 numark ndx 800s with a behringer djx 750 mixer, and the audio 4dj as my interface for my timecodes. Do I need to up it to the audio 8? Can anyone answer this for me?

Thanks,
J

with the audio 4 you only have 2 inputs and 2 outputs. one way around it that i have found is if you want to use your time codes for 2 channels is to set up using the advanced config with VDJ 7 with your 2 inputs and outputs. and then if you want for the other 2 channels you can use your headphone or output jack from your computer and split the signal left channel and right channel. i believe this is one of the few ways to do it with the audio4dj box. i use it with a macbook pro and can get it to work with the above config. im sure it will work on a PC too. i use my 2 time codes as my 2 main decks and split my output for my sampler and my 3rd deck (just for back beats). it works very well!

cheers,

Mark
