DRM aren't free! the license for DRM are proprietary, if VDJ wanted to include drm support, it would have to pay for that support. Anyway, DRM is a way to kill the music. This is why beatport has mp3 and not DRM protected music.
So, no DRM support for VDJ, and i think there will never be.
