Topic: Deleting song from Virtual Folder in VDJ 7

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Is there any keyboard shortcut to remove a song from a Virtual Folder? All I see is right-click remove. Delete, Cntrl-Delete, Alt-Delete, Alt-Shift-Delete, etc. all have no effect.

Any ideas?

I would also like an answer to this. Another thread suggested File Operations.... Delete, and insisted that it wouldn't delete the file from my hard drive, but that's what it did. I found the file in my recycle bin later.

How can I remove a file just from one virtual folder but have it remain the rest of the folders that it's in?

There is no keyboard shortcut to remove a song from a virtual folder. However if you choose the virtual folder on the left side of the browser and rightclick on the song that you wish to remove from the virtual folder, the last option is.. Remove.
 
I\'m not seeing it... Here\'s a screenshot. Am I just being stupid and missing it?
 
 
The picture show you want to delete a song.
In the window you are at just click file operations.
There is an option to delete.
If you want to delete a file; then right click on the folder
in the far left side. You will see an option to delete.

Couldn't you use the keyboard mapper or the script and make a key to delete it - just use the learn function
 
Well the problem is that the REMOVE option doesn't show up at all.

To me, both the song as in the virtual folder leaves me delete
 
Is it different depending on your computer's software ie mac os vs Windows? Because I'm trying to delete on a mac and having no luck
