This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I noticed database has to be chosen on the left pane in order to search the entire database. So if I am in a folder and I search for a song it only looks in that folder, not the entire database requiring me to switch back & forth on the left pane between folders and database... Anyway around this so it searches the entire database for a song no matter what folder I am in?>

This is by design you can set a short cut to jump to the database.
