Topic: MIDI controllers are soooooo last month!

I was at bpm yesterday and saw the stand for this!



It just outputs midi so you could set it up too control anything.

Wow, that's cool.

Does it say in the video that he's got an iphone/ipod touch strapped to each wrist? The app is £9 apparently.
 
LOL That looks so ridiculous... What DJ is gonna give up his midi Controller to use that LOL I sure as hell wont LOL
 
Haha, well you never know! If you're a DJ looking for a unique selling point, this could just be it!

I was kind of captivated watching the guy and trying to work out what the hell he was doing! :)
 
I guess I'm getting old 'cause to me that looks like The old wireless Drum Pad setup that MICK FLEETWOOD, from Fleetwood MAC
used to use at his shows. He'd step out from behind the drumset and start doing the drum solo, in the middle of the stage. I have no idea which system he was using but it could trigger loops and samples as well.


I guess everything old is new again.
 
I think Mick had the pads in his clothes. It was pretty cool.
