Topic: RMX question

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Went to Hercules site and dnld drivers for the RMX, since the ones on the CD did not work.
I noticed that on the CD there is a hercules console that installs also.
Is that console necessary?
Also I noticed that some of the buttons on the RMX function even though
the VDJ mapper does not have any action assigned to therm.
Do I need to dnld a different mapper other than the one already in the
VDJ version 6.1?
Thanks

By a console on the CD, I presume you mean the DJC version of Virtual DJ ?

Since you are using VDJ Pro, you don't need to install any other version or mapper to make it work since it is natively supported.

As for the buttons that are not mapped, are you refering to the headphone and microphone volume ?

These are analog controls that are not assignable in VDJ.

Thanks.
No not the headphone or Mic. volume.
Button #1 when you hit it it appears on the skin as loop in
Button #4 when you hit it it appears on the skin as loop out.
Now when you go to config, mappers, hercules rmx nothing appears
as mapped in button # 1 & button#4.
Same for button# 3 & 5. When you hit them it creates a cue point. But
again nothing appears in the mappers for these buttons.

I have changed a couple things, but still am confused.
Is there a way to bring up the samples or effects. and then scroll to choose
the effect or sample you want? I can get a sample or effect to load, just can't
find a way to scroll through them.
