So as of late, I purchased my very first mixdeck, the Numark Mixdeck LE which is the basics of 2 CDjs with a mixer. The default software given is Traktor, which I hate with a passion, so I decided to get Virtual DJ. However, after spending some time with the program, and recording, I realized that my crossfader wasn't mapped on the program, so all my my mixes recorded were all messed up. I went into the config menu and tried to map it, but I couldn't get it to work? Does anyone have some insight into mapping this correctly?

AFAIK the mixer on the MixDeck is a HARDWARE mixer, not MIDI, thus you can't map it on VDJ (or any other software)

Well, how am I supposed to mix with this equipment if I can't even use the crossfader?

Are there Up Faders that are mapable?

I tried mapping the upfaders as well, but to no avail. :(
