I'm not sure if this has been reported but I ran a scan over several hundred songs to get my BPM's and the program looked like it worked fine. However the program does not save the BPM in the metadata and the next time I use VDJ all the BPMs are gone.

(Most of my BPMs in iTunes are empty.)
I am noticing this:
Edit a songs' data in VDJ - (for example) Scan BPM, edit title, then close VDJ.
Then; if I change the (same song) title in iTunes, then close iTunes and Open VDJ, the metadata has been updated to the latest from iTunes. That's cool I guess, but I would prefer it would NOT update the BPM - changing it to NULL (nothing), coming from iTunes. Data from iTunes updates VDJ, but not the other way. I then have to rescan each file to get the BPM back in VDJ.
If I change the metadata in iTunes (title or artist), is there a way to have the BPM be preserved in VDJ? Anyone else have this issue? Suggestion? Thanks!
PLEASE don't suggest I not use iTunes. I do. I build playlists using it, Genius DJ, sorting, grouping, smart playlists, etc. I then take those playlists and backup the lists onto external devices (ipod, iphone, etc.) in case the computer goes deep six.
