I am just getting into this I was wondering how everyone came up with there names. I am trying to think of mine but I want it to mean something it may sound dumb but just wondering

I ended up being called DJ Stardust as I constantly played "Stardust - Music sounds better with you" back in 1998.

It's just stuck since then, but not the worst DJ name really :)
 
Your name should reflect what you do, as a DJ? It is a statement! Hope you find, the one name that says it all?

I got my DJ name from my three girls. My DJ name is DJ Tiagron and my girls names are: TInia AGnes RONja. I wanted a name that nobody else had. I had a couple of names and when i googled for them they already existed.
 
i use Fyorczmieuwaq ....

cuz all the good names were taken

seems to take forever when it's scrolling across the screen ....
 
I didn't pick mine
It was given to me at a time when mp3's were taboo and they stuck my real name at the end of it.

Sorta stuck and have nothing to hide or ego to protect.

I got my DJ name form the DJ who trained me. I always used to (still do) dance and jump around when I DJ. As such he gave me the name DJ JumpinJim. The name has stuck with me ever since :)

I've always thought that old nicknames were the best dj names. That being said, my real name is Jake Lake, so I've never been given a lasting nickname.

I'm DJ Jake Lake because that's what everyone would call me anyway. :)
 
If you are struggling to pick a name, may I suggest using the first or last name of your porno name. I'm sure you all know that your middle name is the first name of your porno name, and the street you first lived on is the last name. So if your middle name is Ivan and you first lived on Buxton Avenue, your porno name would be Ivan Buxton, and you could choose to be DJ Ivan or DJ Buxton. Give it a try, or work with the words in the names.
 
My friends gave me mine, "the SOUND INSURGENT". They say I'm always pushing new music. Always dropping new stuff when I spin.

I came up with the name CalienteNYC because i like to burn the dance floors with my music.
 
Most Know me by DJ Rob (Boring) The only nickname I ever had was thumper but that was by a school teacher in the 7th grade and never realy stuck. When I started my DJ service company 7 years ago I named it T-N-T Entertainment. The "Ts" are for my last name and was hoping I could pass the biz to one of my boys and we could work together for a while but none of them have any interest in DJing...anyways I thought "DJ Dynamite" was a good name to go with T-N-T but I never pushed it untill just recently.
 
Well mine was DJ EZ-B before videos then went to VJ EZ-B. Dont know why but I just like it:)
 
Ace= the first two letters ar emy initials. I have been calling myself that for 30 years at least. But When I used to gangbang my name was Al Capone since my name is Al & then I just made my dj name Ace Capone= Ace Cap1
 
hi i am DJ Master J....i got that name from DJ Spody (KDUX)...at the captains corner in Aberdeen Wa.
