is the "DJConsole" the only piece of hardware with a crossfader? if not, what else has a crossfader built in?

Most hardware controllers will not have a crossfader built in, because DJ prefer to use their own mixers. Depending on the mix style a crossfader is not always the best to use anyhow. Give me a real mixer anyday.

The Hercules is currently the only hardware with a crossfader and a soundcard builtin, though Behrenger is coming out with one that should hit shelves by October.
Another way to get a hardware-based crossfader that interacts with VDJ is to use a MIDI device like the X-Session from Evolution or some of the FaderFox modules. You will need a separate sound card if you use these though.
Another option is a device like the Rane MP4 which has dual USB soundcards builtin and is also an external mixer. Numark (DJ01?) and maybe others have similar devices too.
