Topic: Adding Denon HC4500 Controlled on Win 7

hi i just recently purchased this software and im running windows 7 along with ver. 5.12 i believe. i was hoping that you guys could help me out with where i should place the zip file once downloaded. i found the plugins and control device folders but wasnt sure if that was it, also i wasn't sure if it would need to be unzipped or what?? if you could help me out and send me in right direction it would be GREATLY! appreciated...

If you downloaded a custom mapper like JPBoggis mapper (or mine) then you have to unzip it and copy the HC4500.dll on the "Documents\VirtualDj\Plugins\ControlDevice" folder

However please take a note:
Those mappers are usable ONLY with v5.x of VDJ.
On v6.x these mappers are no longer needed nor they work too. On v6 VDJ introduced the "VDJ Script" and you can mar/re-map/re-program your controller with it.

Unless you have a very specific reason that's holding you on v5.x of VDJ I would suggest you to download the latest version which is 6.1.2
