I guess first let me fill you in on my setup. I am using a Hercules RMX console with the supplied VDJ 5c software. I use a macbook and a 1TB external hard drive. The VDJ software is saved on my macbooks hard drive and all of my music folders are saved on the external hard drive. Now to the problem...
I spent about 5 hours yesterday getting track bpms/keys and listening to each track and giving it a rating in the comment tab. Later that night I had a gig. I shutdown my computer and external hard drive, packed everything in the car and went to the club. When I got there and set everything up, I opened VDJ to find that EVERYTHING I did earlier that day was all gone. I actually got light headed for a second when I first saw it. 5 hours of work gone! I would really appreciate it if someone can help me figure out how to fix this.
