Why is that I can hear cross fader noise when fading over like that you get from a mixer when the fader starts to wear out. It sounds like dirt in the fader on the actual VDJ. I have always noticed this. Im using a laptop . Any help please. Thanx .

Which Soundcard are you using ? How do you make settings for performance in Virtual DJ ?
When you are using your internal Notebook soundcard - it looks like you need a better one. Many internal cards are not fast enough to handle the data from the software.

Thanx for replying. Im using the internal soundcard when at home but have a decent one for when I do a play out so I think that may be my problem. I will use the soundcard connected at hme and see if that eliminates the problem. My performance tabs are where they should be on fastest and I have done everything the VDJ team told me to do in the settings. I have a ATI RadeonĀ® X1200 graphics card built in which VDJ said is not really good enough so I need to upgrade laptops .Toni
