Ok there are 11000 post in this thread so im sure the answer is here but I swear I cant find it. lol I have some sounds bites that are in wav form and im trying to use them in sampler. I added them to the sampler folder and i can locate them when I use the bullet but when I try to load them I get nothing. What type of limitaions are put on files that you can use in sampler I.E. Size, bitrate, etc? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer with this. Im 4 hours in and frustrated.

Well I just loaded a mp3 of a whole song into sampler and it worked fine. I dont know why it wont work with my wav files. Im just gonna convert them all in sound forge and give it a whirl.

I'm not sure about the wav thing in the sampler, but if you load your wav file onto a deck then make a loop that is the whole file (or whatever part you want) and hit the "record" button on one of the samplers that loop is automatically saved to the sampler.

Then you can use the menu button on the sampler to save it as a vdj sample.

Might be a little bit quicker than having to convert all your files to mp3.
