Topic: I get an occassional skip

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Every so often, I get a skip during a song. Doesn't happen during the same song, always a different one. I have nothing else running and the laptop is strictly dedicated to DJing. Any ideas? Already ran the latency program.

Also, regarding your soundcard:

- Are you using the latest drivers ?

- Is your card working in ASIO ?

If so, have your tried modifying some settings like the buffer size (in the card's control panel) ?
