I've just updated to version 3 and have noticed that when recording to split files, the total record time has vanished.

Haven't checked this out yet, but a temporary solution would be to click on the time (in the upper left corner of the standard skin) and then you get a stopwatch. Clicking on it starts the time, that way you can see how long you've been recording....
