looking at buying this laptop can anyone advise if its worth buying in respect of djing with virtual dj for video djing and audio djing

Dell Studio 1570 and its amazing! i5 is the way to go with about 6 gigs of ram your flying.

The Intel GMA video chipset probably won't be sufficient to do video mixing, as it's a chip on the motherboard and not a dedicated graphics card. It is limited in memory compared to a dedicated video card. I run VDJ on a Dell Studio 1558 with i5 processor, 4gb of RAM and a video card with 1gb on it. Works like a charm.
The laptop you showed will do the music part of VDJ, but I doubt whether it will have sufficient specs to do video mixing at the same time on it.

Thanks guys for that info I really need a new Laptop quick but rather than buying something just for the sake of quikness I thought id post here first that way any pitfalls. ie unsatisfactory video cards can be dodged
