Hello.. I am kinda new to virtual Dj. Could someone please instruct me how to assign the functions keys

it is actually plenty easy, just read the instructions I am sure someone has set up hear but I just reay instructions in my RMX manual. The only problem I am having is making them stick. Whenever I shut down some are gone.
