i just downloaded the trial before i but the tables and the songs are not playing smoothly its coppy anyone know why

What is your system specs?

you can try the following:

1) play with the window size. (if stretched it can be choppy)
2) Lower your performance Settings (move the tab all the way to the left)
3) Change the soundcard to the actual hardware and not primary (in sound setup)
 
you didn't give any information about your system

there are minimum requirements your system must meet

what is your operating system and how much ram

what is your VDJ version number, did it come with a controller ?

if your system meets the minimum requirements then there are a number of fairly standard tweaks

you may have to do in order to get it to work right , some are settings for the software , some are settings in Windows ,

if you use windows , so far we don't even know that .....
