I'm looking for an air horn sample, the link has the sound (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPsnZle7hRc). Anyways, I have the track but in order to use it as a sample on VDJ the track extension must be in .vdj form. And if I read SDK instructions correctly, the way to make a plug-in is by using Visual Studio or XCode (for Mac). Correct me if as you wish. Thanks!

You are trying to use a sample which is nothing to do with C++ or the SDK :)
.vdj files are OGG Vorbis.
Luckily for you though the sampler can open most audio formats, no need to convert or do anything. Simply make sure your sample is in an audio format such as MP3.
