ok so i bought a Hercules Steel, and its great, but my trial for pro ran out, so i figured id buy home edition because there was a few features I don't need from pro, and now i cant control VDJ with the Hercules. is there a plug in ill be missing or something that i dont know PLEASE HELP.

Home Edition doesn't support the Hercules controller; the version you should use is the LE version that came with your controller. The Pro trial is only a trial - the limited version it came with should still work.

So, I have a choice between using Pro Or the LE which can not record or use skins or anything. that's a real pain.

As far as recording is concerned, it was added with the update (v5.2.2, available in the DOWNLOAD section).
No luck for skins though...

It's not a pain at all. You bought a controller which comes with a limited version of the software - it's not advertised as including the Pro version. If you want the full pro functionality then you have to buy the software - and you even get a discount for having your existing software :)

The money you spent on the Home edition can be used towards purchasing the Pro version..
OR You can also use your LE code to give you a discount.. (which might be greater then then What you paid for the home version!)

I just got the hercules mk2 v2 and i have an updated version of virtual dj 5.2 but the controler is not working with it does anyone have an answer for this problem? PLEASE HELP
