Topic: TCV with asio4all

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

here we go again :(
I got 3 soundcards, 1 onboard, a cmi8738, 1 Sb audigy & 1 maya44usb
I installed asio4all & disabled everything exept the maya card, I've installed the drivers from microsoft as suggested (for the maya44usb).
I tried to follow the new manual but got stuck, when I open vdj, i chose chan 1 & 2 left/ chan 3 & 4 right & i have a good signal on the both desks, for the output I've chosen the same, chan 1 & 2 left / chan 3 & 4 right, but now when i play a tcv the output is on the cmi8738, I know the settings must be somewhere in the registry but I don't know what to set it to, currently it says

TimecodeConfigIn REG_DWORD 0x0000000 (0)
TimecodeConfigMapChanIn REG_BINARY 00 01 02 03
TimecodeConfigMapChanOut REG_BINARY 04 05 06 07
TimecodeConfigOut REG_DWORD 0x0000000 (0)

I don't need to use the samples so I don't need to config a second soundcard, I just wonna play these tcv.
Anyone with a solution

Well why do you use asio4all if you don't want to use samples?

Only use maya44 usb, it's enough in your case

well, i finally got it to work with asio4all and it just sounds better than the regular maya driver.
Still if I scartch fast i get a signal loss & it doesn't sound good anymore, maybee it's a usb problem so I'm gonna go get a usb hub tomorow
