Topic: MAYA 44 PROBLEM WITH TIMECODE AND MIXER

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi there, i'm really hoping someone can help me out there
Here's my setup first off
i've got a maya 44 with two numark ndx200 both straight into the inputs on the maya44
i've also got a numark m1 with channel one going to one of the outputs and channel two going to the other remaining output in the maya44

i'm running virtual dj 6.0.4 on a macbook pro with snow leopard

the problem is when i try to setup the timecode, i get no signal.

also only the input lights are on on the maya 44 not outputs lights are illuminated

have i wired something wrong? is it the software?

any help would be greatly appreciated. i just want to crack on with the mixing.

thanks alot in advance.

Did you set it up as an aggregate device through the audio midi setup?

nope i didn't, cos i was under the illusion that under snowleopard because the maya 44 shows up as having 4 in/ 4 out that I didn't need to aggregate the device. cos it only comes up as one device rather than one device for inputs and one device for outputs. i've used bootcamp and it's works on windows, but now i'm having trouble recording my mixes through the line-in port on the windows side.

thanks for the suggestion, any further?
