Topic: downloading vdj for first time

hey i recently got a used mac and its going fine but ive downloaded vdj but when i go to open it it keeps saying it has unexpectedly closed can any help?? iv deleted it and downloaded again but same problem. Iam new to macs is there something im not doing right?? Id like to get my mac up and running because im sick of using my sony vaio to be honest!!

mate not sure but check posts on permissions.
try right click on on hd icon and set to allow ie permission on the end.
 
tanx for the reply staffy but how do i do that?? i right click it but cant seem to find anyting like that
