Topic: jerky waveform

Hi guys. My vjd was running perfectly for the last yr until the other night. My waveform just started going jerky and I have tryed all the possible fixes from the performance threads etc. My latency sometimes is good but seems to keep spilking into the red. Im beginning to think my laptop is the problem. Been trying different things for the last cpl of days now and dnt know what else to do. any more advise please. cheers.

This could be as simple as your skin not fitting correctly
for some reason when you stretch the a skin it causes waveforms to slowdown become jerky.. usually doesnt affect the performance of the software but something it seems like it does..

find a skin that fix your res when maximized or use the one you have but do not maximize it

see if that fixes your problem.

Ok. I have done that but still no difference. My latency is running very good and stays in the green area since I have followed all the performance issue threads so thats a good thing.

The wave form still has a slight jerk to it and I just have run out of ideas as to what else it could be. I have tryed all differrent combinations of the performance bar moving left to right etc. still no difference. Its not bad but it is definately not as good as it was until i developed this prob. Any more advise would be great as to what else I could do .
