Topic: adding BPM tag

I keep my original tracks on LAN-HD and sync them from time to time with my VDJ laptop. But after changing/adding tags on the original tracks or rename the file, I need to re-analyse the BPM's on the laptop, but that takes time each time. So I was thinking of adding a BPM tag in the file itself, so that VDJ on the laptop can use this while (re-)reading the tags instead of the slower re-analysing the track.
Wat is the best way of doing this considering my 'original' and 'copy' files on 2 locations?

Easiest way to "do it" is to also copy the .xml file between hard drives when you sync.
 
Remember to do the opposite too!

I mean before you start modyfying your songs to the LAN-HD, copy the xml Database from your laptop to the HD. Then make all your changes, and after you are done copy (sync) your files to the Laptop and then copy the xml database. If you dont do this you might lose informations like last played, played most etc.
 
That's a possible solution, but for copying the .xml file, I suppose that the files on both locations (laptop and LAN-HD) need to be in exact same filepaths? Now it something like C:\music\... (for the laptop) and G:\media\music\... for the NAS.
Anyway this won't work for tracks that I change the name for on th NAS, in case of typing error, reorder, etc... Then VDJ consider it as a new track witout (BPM) info.
That's is the reason I like to embed the BPM tag in the file itself. AFAIK VDJ is not able to add the BPM tag in the mp3 file?
