I just picked up some Mackie SRM 450 Speakers and use them to play at Backyard type of festivites. I'm interested in purchasing a Bass cabinet for my low-end, and was wondering what Dj's are using for small to medium type of events.
Any suggestions from experience, using Bass Cabinet Speakers would be greatly appreciated!

The Carvins are good and the wooffers handle more than what it says. Its Really 800 watts RMS... The reason why they are cheaper in price is... You are buying them Factory direct. Its no middle man like buying speakers from a DJ store etc.. Carvin has been around for decades.
I currently have the JBL Mpro 418s subs but if would have know about the Carvin subs sooner... I would have bought them in a heart beat. I am using carvin speakers and they sound better than My JBls

Why not just buy the matching Mackie subwoofers?

Our currency is stronger than yours so it seems cheap but then that Mackie must be cheap to you guy's to isn't it?
15" are more popular in the UK, this must be because on the whole the venues are smaller.
